Tout en protégeant du soleil, le store rouge crée une lumière rosée agréable et chaleureuse, un peu comme un cocon.

Protecting from the sun, the red awning creates at the same time a pleasant rosy light like a cocoon.

Capri, wholly white office

Une agence immobilière à Capri. Ce bureau, doté d'une large baie vitrée, donne directement sur la rue et reste allumé durant la nuit comme une vitrine de luxe.

An estate agency in Capri. This office is right on the street with a large showcase. The lights are turned on at night, in the same way as any luxury shop.

Ce marbre rose confère au bâtiment douceur, intimité, grandeur.. Tel que souhaité par Louis XIV et exécuté par le célèbre architecte Mansart. 

This pink marble give to the bulding, gentleness, intimacy, greatness... As wished by Louis the 14th and made by the famous architect Mansart.

Capri, Sophia Loren is in the living room

Détail d'un grand salon sur lequel je reviendrai et donnerai plus d'infos dans un prochain post. Ce mur-ci est incontournable pour le regard de Sophia Loren, immortalisé par le photographe américain Alfred Eisenstaedt à Rome en 1961. Sa photo irradie dans toute la pièce. Sinon, j'ai enfin écrit quelques mots dans la rubrique "ABOUT" de ce site, sur la page "Who's" that blog?

Detail of a large living room that I will describe more with an other picture in a coming post. On the wall, this picture of Sophia Loren was taken by american photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt in Rome in 1961. Here, her eyes radiate to the entire room. Anacapri, cuisine de la villa San Michele

Vraie cuisine ancienne d'origine. L'ambiance est assez monacale car elle n'est plus utilisée depuis quelques temps. La villa San Michele fut construite à la fin du 19ème siècle.

Here we are in a real antique kitchen. The atmosphere of this room is particulary monastic as it is not used anymore. San Michele house was built at the end of nineteen century.

J'ai pris cette photo pour la partie en bois massif associé aux portes-serviettes en métal chromé.
I took this picture for the wood associated to the chrome-plated towel rail.

Paris, restaurant de la Mosquée

Les petits moineaux que l'on peut apercevoir sur l'une des deux tables sont restés dans le champ de mon objectif durant toute la durée de prise de vue, pépiant et virevoltant d'une table à l'autre.

The little birds we can see on the second table stood in my camera angle during all the shooting, singing and twirling around the two tables.

C'est le genre d'image qui me fait penser à Londres et pourtant j'ai vraiment fait cette photo au cœur du Campo dei Fiori, à Rome.

This kind of photo reminds me London and yet I did take this picture at Campo dei Fiori in Rome.

Le "Jacky bar" baptisé ainsi en hommage à Jacky Onassis qui était une "habituée" de Capri.
