     La paroi décorée d'un arbre peint que vous pouvez voir au fond de cette cabine de douche à l'italienne est en fait un vitrail du haut en bas, jusqu'au sol... laissant entrer la lumière au grès de la journée. Au delà de cette vitre de décoration : la skyline, l'altitude, on est au 22ème étage.
     A true work of art : this tree is a stained glass, it means this is a real window from the ceiling to the floor, and just behind there is nothing but the height, the skyline and a sweet vertigo feeling as here we are at the 22nd floor.

  Une maison avec jardin dans le 11ème arrondissement. Photos prises avec mon iPhone l'année dernière à l'occasion d'un repérage pour un shooting mode.

  Here is a house in the East of Paris around Ledru Rollin station. I took these pictures with my iPhone last year during a scouting location for a fashion photoshoot.

London, the bathtub

     Salles de bain du Hazlitts' + Londres = amour éternel. Hauteur sous plafond, carrelage noir et blanc vintage, moulures anciennes. Ça fait longtemps que je n'ai pris de photos pour ce blog avec un appareil digne de ce nom. Comme ici par exemple, j'ai photographié avec mon vieil iPhone. J'espère que la qualité reste néanmoins suffisante pour vous donner un aperçu de l'atmosphère des lieux.

      Bathroom ever and ever at the Hazlitts'. High ceiling, vintage floor, beautiful antic moldings. Since a while, I haven't post any pictures taken with a real camera on this blog, like here I took my old iphone. Nevertheless I hope it is enough to tell the story and at least to show you the ambience.

     En Toscane, il n'est pas vraiment nécessaire d'accrocher des tableaux au mur, il suffit simplement de regarder par la fenêtre...  Depuis cette salle de bain, on peut observer Sienne au loin perchée sur sa colline. Villa Scacciapensieri.

Menton, cheap and chic design (bedroom + bathroom)

         Ne me demandez pas comment je me suis retrouvée à Menton ce jour-là, j'en suis encore toute étourdie. Et figurez-vous que c'est l'âme en peine que je me suis résolue à prendre cette chambre qui était la dernière qui soit libre dans toute la ville. À ce moment-là, je n'avais pas encore repéré les lieux et je me disais, pétrie d'apriori : "Mince, une chambre dans un Ibis, même pas de quoi faire un post pour le blog". C'était sans compter le concept design de la nouvelle chaine de chez Accor nommée "Ibis Style". Et bien oui, ça a du style et c'est clean. Vu les préjugés que j'avais, je dirais même qu'à l'arrivée ces chambres sont totalement jubilatoires et ludiques (une couleur par étage). Au final, j'ai eu de la chance car à Menton, l'Ibis Style, c'est un peu "the place to be". Où je me suis surprise à rêver assise à une table en plastique sur cette terrasse en teck avec vue sur quelques toits... J'ai photographié le tout à la tombée du jour. L'ensemble a été imaginé et conçu par l'architecte Anthony Palermo.

         Don't ask me why I've been traveling "so far" to Menton which is a small town on the French Riviera very close to Italia (well I simply was on my way back from Italia). Here is a long story with a terrible suspense. First of all when I arrive : no room at all in the entire place. I finally found the one you see (thanks to a "last minute" cancelation). Before seeing it, I did imagine a "poor" room in a "sad" flat which was a real prejudice due to the fact it was supposed to be a low cost hotel... Actually, it's trendy and clean and exhilarating. A real "place to be". It is the result of a new design concept launched by the Accor company for a new hotel range named "Ibis Style". Each floor has its own color and I've had the green as you can easily see. Moreover I was glad to have something like this to shoot for the blog. So finally this place was a nice surprise, this is the end of the story. I took these pictures just before night. Designed by Anthony Palermo.

       Ce 27 m2 situé rue Picardie dans Le Marais est juste parfait. Volumes, matériaux, organisation des espaces... Place aux images et bonne visite ! Ce studio a été entièrement repensé et décoré par Sylvia Harrault et Christophe Bosch.

       Voici une photo oubliée de la chambre numéro 1 du Palazzo Segreti où l'on voit que la cabine de douche est intégrée à la chambre, au bout du lit. Les autres photos de cette chambre se trouvent ici. Elles datent de l'époque où je ne publiais qu'une à deux photo par jour et par post. Design par Brizzi+Riefenstahl Studio.

        Here is a forgotten picture of the room number one at Palazzo Segreti at Milano. We can see the shower at the end of the bed as an element of the bedroom.                     Pas mal le mariage de cette mosaïque et de ce papier peint façon tapisserie pour une salle de bain... Aperçu à l'hôtel du Jardin de l'Odéon. Ha oui et puis j'aime bien immortaliser les belles robinetteries ! 

                   Isn't it nice the combination of mosaïc and wallpaper for a bathrooms? Especially these two ones. And I'm fond of making close shots of stylish plumbing ! Seen at the hotel Le Jardin de l'Odéon.

          Oupss, je n'avais rien posté depuis dix jours et je suis très flattée que quelques uns d'entre vous m'en aient fait la remarque. Re-oupss, j'avais pourtant des tonnes de post en preparation... Alors à très vite! Aujourd'hui, une salle de bain imaginée par Chantal Thomass pour une suite de l'hôtel Le Pradey. Entre autres details, voyez le pommeau de douche en forme de main gantée de noir... Et les robinets avec les petits noeuds pap's.          Ooopss, I have not published anything since 10 days on this blog and I feel very touched that some of you have pointed out to me. Ooopss-again as even so I had many posts in anticipation... Then I promise that I will not be long anymore for next posts. Today, here is a bathroom created by Chantal Thomass (the famous French underwears designer) for a suite at the hotel Le Pradey.              J'aime beaucoup les salles de bain avec baignoire "à pied", parquet et meubles anciens. Celle-ci donne sur la rue du Cherche-Midi. Située côté fenêtre, elle est séparée de la chambre par une cloison de verre et sa porte vitrée à la manière d'un jardin d'hiver.           I like bathrooms in which I can find some bathtub "with legs", a parquet floor and antique furniture. This one is overlooking the Cherche-midi street. Located at the window, the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a glass dividing wall and its glass door looking like a winter garden.
