Paris, spring is coming

        Ce que la photo ne dit pas : le chant des oiseaux. On ne se croirait vraiment pas à Paris (ici au coeur du 16ème arrondissement, appartement privé).
        With many birds sound... You could even not guess that you're in a city (here, this is the 16th area of Paris, a private interior).

Paris, mediterranean feeling (bathroom and living room)

  Here is a house in the East of Paris around Ledru Rollin station. I took these pictures with my iPhone last year during a scouting location for a fashion photoshoot.

London, the fireplace (living room)

     Voici l'endroit où il faut être quand il pleut (grosse averse au moment où je prenais cette photo). Vintage, cosy et délicieux. Je suis restée seulement un petit quart d'heure dans ce salon, assise sur un canapé devant ce (vrai) feu de cheminée. J'avais, telle que vous la voyez, cette image devant mes yeux et je n'ai rien arrangé ou déplacé pour rendre la photo plus "sexy", elle n'en avait pas besoin. (C'est l'un des salons attenant au lobby du Hazlitt's.)
      The right place to be when it is raining outside. I stayed only 15 minutes in this room, seated in the sofa in front of this fireplace. I had this image in front of my eyes. The books, on the table and on the fireplace, were exactly in this position, as well as the armchairs, I didn't touch anything to make the style better. No need. Vintage, cosy and delicious. (It is one of the the living rooms, lobby next door, at the Hazlitt's.)

Paris, pencil and the mirror (living room)

  Voici la photo oubliée de l'hôtel Crayon à Paris, celle que je n'avais jamais publié car je n'aimais pas le reflet du porte-manteau dans le miroir... Aujourd'hui je ne vois plus que la finesse du miroir, la qualité de la glace, son effet aquatique, les goûts changent...
  Here is the picture I had never published as I didn't like the coat rack reflection. Today I change my mind : I only see the nice aquatic effect of the mirror and its delicacy. Seen at l'hôtel Crayon.

   Thaïlande, sur l'île encore "inspoliée" de Ko Kood (ou Kho Kut), voici un endroit posé sur l'eau et perdu dans la mangrove... Il y aura d'autres posts sur Ban Makok. Ce post-ci est une sorte de teaser.

        À l'hôtel Chavanel, la dentelle véritable n'est pas qu'une inspiration et les détails sont faits de jolis meubles... (et mon petit sac qui traîne partout remplace le selfie). Design par les architectes Anne Peyroux et Emmanuèle Thisy.

    At hotel Chavanel the "dentelle véritable" (Calais french authentic lace) is not only an inspiration... Moreover, details are made of a precious-gorgeous furniture... (and my little bag is like replacing the selfies). Design by Anne Peyroux and Emmanuel Thisy.

       Salon de l'hôtel Chavanel sur lequel je reviendrai plus en détails. Ces suspensions en fibre de verre aussi étonnantes que délicates me font penser à des plumes ou du duvet (design Matteo Ugolini). Design de Anne Peyroux et Emmanuèle Thisy.
        Lobby of the hotel Chavanel of which I'll show you some details later. These surprising chandeliers make me think about feathers as big as delicate (design by Matteo Ugolini). The hotel has bee designed by the architects Anne Peyroux and Emmanuèle Thisy.

    Aperçue à l'hôtel Chavanel, cette création d'Anoushka Potdevin pour Ateliers d'Art de France inspirée d'une cage à oiseaux. S'y assoir pour mieux prendre son envol. 

    Seen at the hotel Chavanel, this armchair has been designed by Anoushka Potdevin for Ateliers de France. This seat gives a kind of Zen experience.

    

Greece, inside + outside living rooms

    Une amie m'avait un jour demandé de retoucher ces trois magnifiques photos qu'elle avait prises elle-même avec son iPhone de sa maison en Grèce, sur l'île de Paros. Ambiance toute cycladique et décoration de bord de mer. Design et décoration par Lorraine Diard-Robino.

Paris, the suite and the orchid

   À deux pas des Champs-Élysées, voici l'hôtel cinq étoiles Vernet dont le designer François Champsaur a entièrement repensé les espaces et dessiné l'ensemble du mobilier et des luminaires. J'ai fait quelques photos hier après-midi dans cette suite et vous livre ce que j'en retiens. Bonne visite. Je vous montrerai la salle de bain dans un prochain post (la douche à l'Italienne vaut à elle seule le détour...).

    Here is the five stars hotel Vernet close to the Champs-Elysées. The famous french decorator François Champsaur has just designed everything. I took some pictures of this suite yesterday afternoon. Enjoy the visit ! I will publish pictures of the bathroom in an other post (as the shower there deserve its own post...). 

Paris, iconic living room

      Pour qui aime le style 50's... Derrière la vitre, une fausse cheminée "fait faux feu de tous bois" (des galets blancs en fait). De petites flammes s'y déhanchent toute la journée pour réchauffer le coeur de Marilyn (adieu laconisme, aujourd'hui c'est poésie). Design de Vincent Bastie pour le Platine hôtel. Ces derniers temps, comme je le disais dans un précédent post, j'ai été plus occupée à visiter des intérieurs (à la recherche d'un appart) qu'à les photographier et bien plus occupée à photographier des silhouettes et accessoires de mode qu'à immortaliser des ambiances design.       For those who love 50's style. Design by Vincent Bastie for the Platine hotel. In this false fireplace behind the pane, there are so many flames which dance all day to warm up Marilyn's heart. You can see other pictures of this place here. These last weeks I was more busy to visit interiors (I'm searching for an appartment) instead of shooting them. Moreover, I've made more fashion and accessories pictures which would not have their place here as I show only my interior pictures on this blog.
