Bangkok, 24th floor private swimming pool

À la tombée du jour. Salon d'extérieur et sa piscine (ici au premier plan) en plein centre-ville. L'un de mes "jardins secrets".

Just before night. Outdoor livingroom with its pool at the very center of the city. One of my "secret" places.

Koh Kood, outdoor living above the sea (sunset)

       Piscine et terrasse privées au dessus de la mer à Koh Kood, île encore confidentielle et très préservée de la Thaïlande. Tellement protégée que les arbres qu'on aperçoit sur la terrasse n'ont pas été rajoutés. Ils sont là depuis toujours, il est interdit de les couper. Cet espace extérieur a donc été construit en intégrant la végétation. Les planches de teck sont découpées de manière à contourner et laisser intacts les arbres et plantes d'origines.
       A private terrace and its pool built around the trees and plants. This thai island is very preserved thanks to strong laws which protect the environment. You can not cut the vegetation here. So the teak parquet floor bypasses the trees ! 

Capri, this blog is on holiday (swimming pool interior)

       "Buongiorno da Capri", ce blog est vraiment en vacance car je n'ai pas pris mon appareil photo contrairement aux autres fois sinon je passe mon temps à écumer les hôtels, palaces et autres spots design à immortaliser. Vous pouvez d'ailleurs revoir tous les intérieurs capriotes que j'ai précédemment photographiés en cliquant sur ce lien. Faute d'appareil photo, je n'ai quand même pas pu m'empêcher de faire celles-ci avec un iPhone. Que pensez-vous de cette magnifique mosaïque dans les tons turquoise ? J'en ai vu des intérieurs de piscines à Capri (vous en verrez quelques unes en cliquant sur le lien précité) mais pour l'instant cette mosaïque est vraiment la plus belle et la plus raffinée que j'ai pu observer (hôtel Canasta). Elle donne à l'eau des tonalités magnifiques. À très vite sur ces pages et sur stylosophie.fr.  

         "Buongiorno da Capri", this blog is really in holiday as I didn't take my camera this year to be sure I will not spend my time photographing hotels, palaces and other designed places... As I did it before, you can see again all Capri's interiors I've been pictured in the past on this link. This summer, I've taken only these two pictures with an iPhone as I couldn't help doing it. What do you think of this magnificent swimming pool mosaic ? It's the finest one I've ever seen in Capri so far (and if you click on the link above, you'll see that I've already seen some of them). Saint-Barth, breakfast at sunrise (part two)

    Et voici le deuxième post annoncé au sujet de cette terrasse (photographiée à 6h du mat') agrémentée d'une piscine surplombant l'océan avec vue à 180°(pour voir ou revoir le précédent post, cliquer ici).

Corsica, swimming with a view

      Incontournable spot dans les montagnes corses : cette piscine sans vis à vis entourée de bois de teck  (juste comme j'aime) au-dessus des montagnes et des vallées... Forêt luxuriante et horizon à perte de vue. Piscine et jacuzzi de l'hôtel du Tourisme dans le petit village de Zonza au coeur de l'Alta Rocca. (Photos réalisées avec un numérique de poche très simplifié ayant au moins le mérite de ne pas m'avoir encombrée durant cette escapade...).

       Whenever you go to Corsica, stop here for a while and for a rest if you want a quiet, clean and nice place with a huge view on the nature and mountains. You will just swim with the forest and the horizon. Here is the jacuzzi, the pool and a terrace of l'hôtel Du Tourisme in the small village named Zonza in Alta Rocca (South Corsica mountains). I took these pictures with a cheap and small camera as it was not heavy to carry during my escapade...

Capri, a villa for Chanel (part 1) : terraces, living outside...

            De juin à fin septembre 2012, Chanel a installé son showroom éphémère dans une villa capriote en recréant des espaces à vivre très chic tout en restant fidèle au style de Capri.            From June to the end of september 2012, Chanel has turned its "showroom éphémère" into a typical Caprese villa recreating some very chic living rooms in the mood of Capri style. Here are the terraces and outdoor living rooms. I show you the interior in the next post. (you can click here to see it). Enjoy the visit.

Anacapri, inside the pool (mosaic stair)

        Comme chaque année, je me fends d'une ou deux photos de la piscine du Capri Palace d'Anacapri. Ici détail des mosaïques et de l'escalier. On peut voir une large vue d'ensemble du bassin en cliquant ici.

Milano, psychedelic pool

          L'Atomic spa Suisse, tel est son nom, est sous-terrain. C'est une caverne bleue aux parois recouvertes de boules métalliques argentées réfléchissantes ressemblant à des bulles de mercure. Cette étrange architecture abrite une piscine de forme originale aux belles dimensions. C'est une sorte de caverne de Platon version 70's délicieusement régressive. En quelques brasses, on peut y perdre la notion de l'espace et du temps. Design par l'architecte italien Simone Micheli.

          The Atomic spa Suisse, its name, is on the lower ground floor. It's a blue cavern with walls covered of mirror metallic silver colored balls looking like bubbles of mercury. This strange architecture shelters a pool which has an original forme and a large size. This is a kind of 70's version of Platon's cavern, deliciously regressive. Swimming here makes forget time and space. Design by Italian architect Simone Micheli.

Napoli, pool above the city at sunrise

Une piscine pour terminer la semaine et réchauffer les plus frileux. Cette piscine a été taillée dans le rocher d'une falaise surplombant la ville de Naples tout comme l'ancien couvent transformé en hôtel auquel elle est intégrée (San Francesco al Monte). En dessous, la ville et au loin le Vésuve. Photo prise à 7 heures du matin.

A pool to close this week and warm up the most sensitive to this winter cold. This pool was constructed in the rock, up on a hilltop like the convent which is now an hotel (San Francesco al Monte). Face to the Vesuvius. Pictured at 7 o'clock AM in summer.

Rome, a private downtown swimming pool
