Paris, spring is coming

        Ce que la photo ne dit pas : le chant des oiseaux. On ne se croirait vraiment pas à Paris (ici au coeur du 16ème arrondissement, appartement privé).
        With many birds sound... You could even not guess that you're in a city (here, this is the 16th area of Paris, a private interior).

Paris, living like in countryside (kitchen and its outdoor space)

    Située dans le quartier de Passy, voici une cuisine dont on devine la terrasse arborée dans le reflet de la porte vitrée... Une impression permanente de maison de campagne.

Paris, mediterranean feeling (bathroom and living room)

  Une maison avec jardin dans le 11ème arrondissement. Photos prises avec mon iPhone l'année dernière à l'occasion d'un repérage pour un shooting mode.

  Here is a house in the East of Paris around Ledru Rollin station. I took these pictures with my iPhone last year during a scouting location for a fashion photoshoot.

Le Restaurant (c'est son nom) de L'Hôtel.
This restaurant is called "Le Restaurant", a famous "étoilé". It is part of the hotel witch name is also "L'Hôtel". I don't have enough words to explain how much unique these places are.

Comme on le devine peut-être sur cette image, j'avais utilisé cette terrasse (à ce jour ma favorite à Paris) pour photographier quelques accessoires de mode. Perchée au 8ème étage d'un immeuble art déco. Un air de campagne...

  Voici la photo oubliée de l'hôtel Crayon à Paris, celle que je n'avais jamais publié car je n'aimais pas le reflet du porte-manteau dans le miroir... Aujourd'hui je ne vois plus que la finesse du miroir, la qualité de la glace, son effet aquatique, les goûts changent...
  Here is the picture I had never published as I didn't like the coat rack reflection. Today I change my mind : I only see the nice aquatic effect of the mirror and its delicacy. Seen at l'hôtel Crayon.

        À l'hôtel Chavanel, la dentelle véritable n'est pas qu'une inspiration et les détails sont faits de jolis meubles... (et mon petit sac qui traîne partout remplace le selfie). Design par les architectes Anne Peyroux et Emmanuèle Thisy.

    At hotel Chavanel the "dentelle véritable" (Calais french authentic lace) is not only an inspiration... Moreover, details are made of a precious-gorgeous furniture... (and my little bag is like replacing the selfies). Design by Anne Peyroux and Emmanuel Thisy.

       Salon de l'hôtel Chavanel sur lequel je reviendrai plus en détails. Ces suspensions en fibre de verre aussi étonnantes que délicates me font penser à des plumes ou du duvet (design Matteo Ugolini). Design de Anne Peyroux et Emmanuèle Thisy.

    Aperçue à l'hôtel Chavanel, cette création d'Anoushka Potdevin pour Ateliers d'Art de France inspirée d'une cage à oiseaux. S'y assoir pour mieux prendre son envol. 

    Seen at the hotel Chavanel, this armchair has been designed by Anoushka Potdevin for Ateliers de France. This seat gives a kind of Zen experience.

     Certains lieux rendent les réunions de travail particulièrement agréables... Terrasse de la suite Shangri-La de l'hôtel éponyme. Design de Pierre-Yves Rochon.

Paris, over the roofs

    Ancien atelier d'artiste avec deux grands balcons donnant d'un côté sur la rue Chanez, de l'autre sur le boulevard Exelmans. Plein ciel, dernier étage. Merveilleux refuge ensoleillé et paisible au coeur du village d'Auteuil. Comme une maison posée sur le toit.

   This appartment used to be an artist studio. It has two large balconies above Chanez street and boulevard Exelmans. Right in the sky... Sunny and quiet. Marvelous refuge in Auteuil village (16th arrondissement).

Paris, the suite and the orchid

   À deux pas des Champs-Élysées, voici l'hôtel cinq étoiles Vernet dont le designer François Champsaur a entièrement repensé les espaces et dessiné l'ensemble du mobilier et des luminaires. J'ai fait quelques photos hier après-midi dans cette suite et vous livre ce que j'en retiens. Bonne visite. Je vous montrerai la salle de bain dans un prochain post (la douche à l'Italienne vaut à elle seule le détour...).

    Here is the five stars hotel Vernet close to the Champs-Elysées. The famous french decorator François Champsaur has just designed everything. I took some pictures of this suite yesterday afternoon. Enjoy the visit ! I will publish pictures of the bathroom in an other post (as the shower there deserve its own post...).
