Capri, vintage corridor

Villa Fersen again. J'aime bien l'aspect naturellement vieilli de ce couloir. Aux heures les plus chaudes de l'été, il n'en est que plus rafraichissant. 

Villa Fersen once again. I like the naturally aged aspect of this corridor. In summer, it makes it even more cool and refreshing.

La forme du lavabo et cette vue charmante sur les toits parisiens compensent l'aspect aseptisé du lieu contenant plus de plastique que n'importe quelle autre matière. J'aime imaginer cette pièce avec un beau parquet teint en blanc comme on peut en voir dans certains pays scandinaves.

The forme of the washbowl and this charming view above the roof adjust the sanitized look of the place which contains more plastic than any other material. I like to imagine this bathroom with a nice wooden floor painted in white as sometimes we can see in Scandinavian countries.

Ambiance bistrot avec de magnifiques couleurs en supplément... J'ai une prédilection pour cette porte-fenêtre avec ses jolis vitraux et ce bois peint. J'avais déjà publié, cet été, une image encore plus orientale de cet endroit très authentique comme on peut le voir ici.

"Bistrot" ambiance with beautiful colors as a supplement... I'm fond of this french window with its nice stained-glass window and its painted wood. I had already published, this summer, a much more oriental picture of this very authentic place as you can see here.

Londres, fantomatic bedroom with a dress

Photo prise en octobre au Kensington palace, à l'occasion d'une exposition temporaire assez psychédélique sur le thème des sept princesses ayant vécu dans ce chateau (la dernière fut Lady Diana) et dont je publierai certainement une ou deux autres photos d'intérieurs tout aussi improbables.

Pictured at Kensington palace during a temporary quite psychedelic exhibition about the seven princesses who lived in this castle (the last one was Lady Diana). I'll certainly publish one or two another improbable interior pictures about it.

Cette porte teintée de rose est en verre poli. Elle laisse passer la lumière tout en préservant l'intimité.

This rosy door is made of polished glass. It lets the light get in through and preserve the intimacy at the same time.

En marge de ce lit ancien monumental, observé dans une suite du Hazlitts, c'est la lampe de chevet qui m'a le plus séduite.

Versailles, brocante d'automne

Une brocante à Versailles, un jour d'octobre. J'ai aimé le contraste entre le mobilier de jardin en fer forgé orange un peu écaillé et ce fauteuil totalement délavé par le temps. Photo prise avec un iPhone.

It was in a junk shop in october. I've liked the contrast between these orange wrought iron garden furnitures a little bit flaky and this old washed out armchair. Pictured with an iPhone.

           J'ai bien aimé que les pieds du lit soient un peu comme un "reflet dans l'eau" des cheminées sur les toits. La photo, sur le mur, en guise de tête de lit, représente un oeil fermé. (Intérieur imaginé par Carole Picard pour l'hôtel BLC)

J'adore les veritables carrelages noirs et blancs lorsqu'ils sont anciens et d'origine, comme ici.
